The core of the Meg is the head, which contains the O2 sensors, electronics, batteries, and solenoid. |
| The three Teledyne R-22D sensors are mounted in a separate sensor carriage with an absorbent pad for condensation. |
The head is compact and robust. |
| The handset interface uses a backlit graphical LCD with reed switches for maximum reliability. |
The electronics consist of two completely independent control systems, each with it's own handset interface and power source. The only commonality between the two is the sensors. The electronics support calibration at altitude and multiple setpoints. |
| A heads-up-display provides the user with constant PO2 information from all three sensors. |
The solenoid is a low-power stainless steel unit made specially for ISC. |
